Submit Google verification documents
The business documents Google accepts to verify your organization before it runs paid ads.
Google requires proof of your organization's identity before it will run paid ads. Submit at least one document that clearly shows your organization's name.
Accepted documentation (any one)
- IRS-issued or stamped documents - for example CP575, 147C, CP299, 988, 937, 1050, or 5822
- IRS forms - such as Form 8871 or Form 990
- Certificate of Business Incorporation - issued by your state and clearly showing your organization's name
- SEC filings - your most recent 10-K, 10-Q, or 8-K filing
- Business credit report - from Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, or Dun & Bradstreet
- Government department or agency letter - an official letter with full name, address, and date
How to submit
- Gather your documentation. Make sure the document clearly shows your business name.
- Send it securely. Email your Resi account manager, submit a support request from your property dashboard, or upload to a Dropbox or secure file-sharing link and share access.
- Resi handles the rest. Documents are submitted to Google on your behalf, with status updates. Verification timelines vary.
This covers advertiser identity verification (business documents). Domain verification and Google Business Profile verification are separate processes.
